Mrs Sharp is proudly locally owned and operated. I’ve been up and running since 2010 and business has been steadily growing over that time. I have a long list of regular customers – some I visit every two weeks and some private clients I only see once or twice a year. The majority of my time I spend calling on businesses in Napier, Hastings and Central Hawkes Bay. These businesses range from restaurants, cafes, boarding school, rest homes and meat processing plants where I mainly sharpen knives. Others include leather and canvas factories, curtain making and clothing manufacturers where I sharpen scissors. I am always happy to fit in private clients along the way.

Hastings: Every Friday morning 8am till noon outside “The Toolshed” 621 Heretaunga St (opposite Rush Munroe and beside coffee cart)

Hastings: The Toolshed (sharpened Friday morning)
Waipukurau: Fishing and Shooting (sharpened as required)
For house calls, no call out fee but I have a minimum charge of $35 worth of work.
Price guide:
- Knives between $5 and $10
- Scissors – kitchen usually $5 and Dressmaking usually $10
- Garden tools between $8 and $15
